The visuals move from hi-energy performance to superimposed ghostly images at the speed of light.
Believe it or not, Havok has been wrecking necks since 2004. I first discovered the group back in 2011 (Time Is Up) when I saw them open for Malevolent Creation (Invidious Dominion Tour).
I thought the band had potential but I never could have guessed the success this thrash quartet from Colorado has achieved. Completely uncompromising, they offer a cutting-edge re-invention of the classic genre with more bite than a half starved alligator on crack!
Now, Havok has returned to shred our brains. A new record entitled, V, will be unveiled on May 1st via Century Media Records. A music video for the song “Phantom Force” has been released to hype the effort.
“Phantom Force” delivers a brash, no holds barred, assault on the senses. The epilepsy warning at the opening is not unfounded. The visuals move from hi-energy performance clips to superimposed ghostly images at the speed of light. Who is the figure clad in black? Perhaps, an unclean menace out for revenge.
Havok is a force. Check out the new video and let this ill-natured spiritual invasion possess you! \m/
