Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Germany, established in 1982.
The group is often considered one of the “Big Four” of Teutonic thrash metal. A subgenre of thrash metal which originated in German-speaking countries during the ’80s. This style is often characterized by speedy aggressive music that is often considered darker when compared to ‘The Big Four’ originators. (Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax & Slayer). Along with Destruction, Sodom and Tankard these groups are thought of as a pre-cursor to both the black and death metal genres.
A highly influential band, Kreator has released a whopping fifteen studio albums, with number sixteen, Krushers of the World, due for release on January 16th, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.
A new music video entitled, “Seven Serpents” has just been released to hype the effort. A performance offering with some heavy theatrics woven in, this video is a feast for both your eyes and ears.
A shipwreck is at the front of the storyline. Comparable to the Sirens of Greek mythology, the survivors end up on a desolate island inhabited by snakes who seemingly are able to take the form of humans. Like the Gorgan, Medusa, the seven serpents strike! Turning all who view her hideous image into stone!

Kreator has proven once again why they are still at the top of their game. Check out “Seven Serpents” and let the punishing attack of Kreator put a snakebite into you! \m/
