Sevendust is an alternative/nu metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994. Since their formation, the group has released a whopping fourteen studio albums with number fifteen, One, set for release on May 1, 2026, via Napalm Records.
A new music video for the song “Unbreakable” has recently been released to promote the effort.
Sevendust are arguably one of the most reliable acts in metal. Like AC/DC or Motorhead, they’ve barely changed their style in thirty years of existence. Still sounding fresh and distinct, always offering quality metal.
When I think about Sevendust, it just blows my mind how long these guys have been around and how consistently they deliver awesome music. Consistently offering a unique blend of hard riffs and expressive melodies may be a well-worn formula but it works and has kept Sevendust relevant for years. They have a very tight sound, which is largely due to their incredible drummer, Morgan Rose, and the distinctive voice of Lajon Witherspoon.
These is evident in the “Unbreakable” music video. A performance offering with some cool special effects, star and light sparkles that seemingly enhance the overall effort.
The focus of the video is the band’s undeniable musical ability. Although this track could be considered a ‘radio friendly’ tune, it’s a genuine and sincere song, not a pretentious radio hit.
